About Us

b4c-logo-squareWhat is Bibles-4-Children?

Our name says it all. Bibles-4-Children is a ministry dedicated to a specific focus – providing Bibles, Bible storybooks, Gospel literature and other resources for children. And we do this where there is limited or no access to God’s Word. Most children in these areas have never even seen a Bible, let alone have a copy of their own.

Bibles-4-Children is an opportunity for individuals, churches and organizations to collect gifts and offerings to be used for publishing and distributing Bibles and other Gospel resources for children throughout these spiritually dark places.

Our Leadership

 Phil Disney

phil-disneyPhil is a former missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators. He and his wife, Jana (now deceased), served in Guatemala, Central America. Phil also served as the Children’s Pastor of the Olathe Bible Church located near Kansas City, Kansas. He has ministered in over 27 nations around the world and has experienced first-hand the tremendous need for the Scriptures within the least-reached regions of the world — especially among children.

Phil believes that children must not only be ministered to, but also have a tremendous capacity for ministry.

“Did you know that the Holy Spirit is just as big in a 9-year-old as He is in a 49-year-old? Children are capable of doing great things for the Kingdom when given the opportunity.”
-Phil Disney

Phil’s desire is to help children know Christ intimately, follow Him wholeheartedly, grow in Him deeply and serve Him passionately.

 Larry Bennett

larry-bennettLarry is an experienced mission’s trainer. His experience as a Pastor, Church Planter and Trainer to native Church Planters has uniquely equipped him to serve in cutting edge missions. He has conducted and directed training in key cities throughout Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and the USA.

Larry believes that the Great Commission can be completed during our lifetime by providing Scriptures in the heart language, aggressive church planting, and intentional discipleship among the remaining Unreached and Unengaged People Groups.

Larry is convinced that children can and will play a strategic role in communicating the gospel to their own culture. Because children have a great capacity to exercise simple faith, they can easily believe and communicate the simple stories of the Bible and trust God for the miraculous.

Larry is married to his childhood sweetheart, Brenda. They have three adult children and four grandchildren. They live in the North Georgia Mountains in Ellijay, Georgia.
